Outbound calls and inbound 24/7 voice are the core. Telephony via Twilio, Plivo, and SIP integrations. We also handle WhatsApp Business and web chat as integrations. Voice is where masjids, charities, and halal businesses actually reach their communities.

Can I customize the voice and the script?

Accepted Answer

Yes — fully. Set the tone, the greetings, the terminology. Want every call to start with Assalamu alaykum + the caller's name when known? Default. Custom voice clone of your imam or director? 60-second sample, opt-in only, never used for impersonation. Edit any response in plain English. Full control is the default.

What happens if Akhi can't answer something?

It hands off gracefully — no awkward "as a large language model" moments. Akhi will say something like "Let me get our team to call you back on this," capture the question, and notify your designated reviewer immediately. Sensitive topics, fiqh questions, anything our refusal policy flags: straight to a human.

Every uploaded phone list requires consent confirmation at upload. Every outbound campaign logs callability provenance. Our T&C requires you to confirm uploaded numbers are legally callable in their jurisdiction. We turn down campaigns that don't pass — legal blast radius is zero by design.

Is AI appropriate for Islamic communication?

Yes, when it stays in its lane. Akhi answers logistical calls (Jummah times, parking, donation receipts, reservations). It defers to your imam on every fiqh question, never invents rulings, logs every deferral, and is always honest about being AI when asked. We won't ship anything that pretends to be human or speaks for scholars.

What does "halal-only platform" actually mean?

We refuse onboarding for any business in a haram vertical: riba banking, alcohol, gambling, conventional insurance, pork, adult content, dating apps. The list is public at /halal-business-filter and permanent. We turn down revenue to keep the platform clean — that's the brand we're building.

What if Akhi says something Islamically incorrect?

Akhi is trained to stay in its lane. It won't issue fatawa, make religious rulings, or speak on matters requiring scholarly authority. When religious questions come up, it provides the information you've approved or hands off to your imam. Every deferral is logged. Nothing goes out that you haven't sanctioned.

How do you ensure Islamic etiquette (adab)?

Adab is the foundation, not a feature. Akhi greets with proper salams, uses respectful language, maintains appropriate boundaries, and never deceives anyone about being AI. It won't discuss haram products or services. If someone asks about riba-based financing, Akhi knows to decline gracefully and offer a halal alternative.

Do you store our calls?

Calls are encrypted in transit. Recordings are encrypted at rest. Data residency you control. We never sell or share your data with third parties. You can export or delete everything at any time. Your community trusts you with their conversations — we carry that trust as heavily as you do.
